Drivers

Hirer/Drivers must be over 25 year of age and have been the holder of a driver’s license for no less than two years. Persons over 65 years of age must supply a doctor’s certificate.

Permits

A local permit is absolutely necessary; this can be issued by an agent of the company. Please note that your original driver’s permit from your country of issue must be presented at the time of the rental.

Insurance Coverage & Optional Protection

All rental vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance, which includes passenger liability and third-party personal injury coverage.

Optional Extra Protection (E.P.)

Optional Extra Protection (E.P.) is available and highly recommended for added peace of mind. If E.P. is accepted:

The renter’s financial responsibility for any damage, loss, fire, or theft of the vehicle—regardless of fault—is limited to USD $750.00, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

E.P. does not cover damage to tyres, rims, canvas tops, or cigarette burns to the vehicle’s upholstery.
EP does not also cover parking ticket.

A pre-authorization hold of USD $750.00 will be placed on your credit card as a security deposit. This is a one-time transaction.

Without Extra Protection (E.P.)

If E.P. is declined:

The renter is liable for up to USD $2,000.00 for any damage, loss, fire, or theft of the vehicle, regardless of fault, provided the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are met.

A pre-authorization hold of USD $1,250.00 will be placed on your credit card as a security deposit.

Please note: The release time for pre-authorized amounts varies by issuing financial institution.

Delivery Service

Complimentary vehicle delivery is provided to the guest’s specified location.

Other Charges

Gas/Extra Driver/ Baby Seats are additional charges that may be added to your bill.

‘Insurance (Nagico (St. Lucia) Ltd.): All vehicles are covered by insurance including US $555,555.56 (EC $1,500,000.00) liability for passengers and third-party personal injury coverage.’

With This Statement:

‘Insurance: All vehicles are covered by insurance including liability for passengers and third-party personal injury coverage.’

Optional Extra Protection (E.P.) is available and recommended.

If E.P. is declined, the hirer accepts full responsibility up to US $2,000 for loss, damage, or loss of the vehicle caused by accident, fire or theft, regardless of who is at fault. A Pre-Authorization is a one time transaction that will be placed on your credit card for an amount of US $1,250.00. Please note that the release time varies depending on your issuing financial institution.

If E.P. is accepted, responsibility for damages is reduced to US $500.00 providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract. E.P. does not cover damage to tyres/rims/vehicle canvas tops or cigarette burns to upholstery.  A Pre-Authorization is a one time transaction that will be placed on your credit card for an amount of US $500.00. Please note that the release time varies depending on your issuing financial institution.

Delivery

Delivery is free of charge to guests’ location.
